Training - ALL Adult AND Jr. Helper Volunteers
As a volunteer at any Boy Scout/Cub Scout camp you are required to complete two training courses. The first, Youth Protection Training is an online class - very simple but required information.
The second training is our Volunteer training for day camp. In order to keep this camp flowing we need our volunteers to be aware of safety procedures and organizational issues.
If you missed our training class you are still responsible to know everything that is contained in the slides. We've posted these slides below.
Take Youth Protection Training online at the BSA Online Learning Center (OLC). You will be asked to create a user account for the OLC if you do not already have one. Once logged in, Youth Protection Training is available under the "General" tab. You will receive a printable certificate indicating your trained status upon completion.
If you did not take the YPT training at the meeting, or have not turned in your Youth Protection Training certification cards, please bring them with you to camp. You may give them to the person who signs you in.
