Scout Check List

To avoid long lines and long waits for drop-off and pick-up we suggest you contact your unit leaders to arrange to carpool. Meeting your unit leaders at the Park And Ride at either Sycamore Valley Rd. & 680 or Bollinger Canyon Rd. & 680 will work extremely well.

Camp Hours: 9 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. Camp closes at 3:45 p.m. There will be NO adults on the property after 4 p.m. Refer to your unit assignments to find your unit leader and contact information.

Attendance: Role will be taken each morning at 9 a.m. If your child is missing you will be called. To avoid an unnecessary missing child alert, please contact your unit leader BEFORE 7:30 a.m. to let them know your child will NOT be attending. You may also call 925-866-1111 and leave a message. We will check messages before calling you if your child is missing.

Here is what to bring to camp:

**Food items: Please avoid peanuts as we have severe peanut allergies with airborne reactions as well as tactile reactions***

  1. a snack
  2. a bag lunch
  3. sunscreen (spray-on, unless you can apply it yourself)
  4. a swim suit and towel
  5. a hat
  6. a water bottle and your lanyard (you'll receive the lanyard at camp). An 8-16 oz. bottle is the ideal size. We will provide lots of water for refills throughout the day.
  7. Your Class 1 Medical Form AND a copy of your insurance card: Make sure this is already turned in. You will not be allowed into camp without this! Check: Current Roster to make sure your name is NOT on this list.
  8. Your driver's license:You will be asked for your driver's license as you remove your cubs from camp. Please remember to bring it from the car as you pick up your cubs.
  9. Scout Attire: Dress for hot weather. Shorts, tennis shoes recommended. Camp tee-shirt is required. The campers will receive their tee-shirts on the first day of camp and are required to wear these shirts each day. Please plan to wash these shirts at least once during the week (Whew!!!)

As a reminder we have NO cell phone coverage at camp. The pay phone has been removed. For incoming calls for emergencies or urgent matters during camp hours, the camp staff can be contacted via. message at 925-866-1111. We will have a staff member travel into a cell phone coverage area each hour to check messages and return ONLY emergency calls. Outgoing emergency calls ONLY may be made from camp.
