WE HOPE YOUR SCOUT HAD A GREAT DAY CAMP EXPERIENCE!!!
A DVD will be offered that is a multimedia presentation (slideshow with music) capturing the experience of Meridian District’s “Wild West” Cub Scout Day Camp. It will be a great opportunity for your scout to remember a great week of scouting as well as sharing his experiences with others. The DVD can be played on TV DVD players or on computers with DVD drives. The DVD will also include hundreds of high resolution photos (3264 x 2448 pixel JPEG files) of the week, including unit (group) photos. The photos can be printed, emailed, used as computer desktops or screensavers, etc. Our website will have lower resolution photos.

The DVD is free. A suggested donation to the Boy Scouts of America “Friends of Scouting” (tax deductible) is $10 per DVD. The DVD will be available on about July 28. A donation (cash or check payable to “BSA-MDSC Friends of Scouting”) may be mailed to the council office: BSA-MDSC; c/o Tim Welty, Meridian District; 800 Ellinwood Way; Pleasant Hill, CA; 94523-4703. Next year's camp is "Science Busters 2009" and is scheduled for July 13-17, 2009! We need all levels of volunteers - if you have 1 hr., 1 day, or 1 week ... please let us know.
